SA provides sound level services to ensure compliance with the local and State noise standards. The New Jersey Noise Control Act authorizes the New Jersey Environmental Protection Agency (NJDEP) to promulgate codes, rules, and regulations relating to the control and abatement of noise. In addition to State standards, municipal and county governing bodies may develop noise control ordinances that are more stringent than State standards.
